Current and alumni Bears players hit the lanes at Brunswick's in Buffalo Grove on Tuesday, November 18 for Bears Bowl, an exciting fundraising event for Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears.

Hall of Famer Richard Dent, alumni players Anthony Adams, Jerry Azumah, Adrian Peterson and James "Big Cat" Williams, and current players Blake Annen, Conor Boffeli, Ka'Deem Carey, Brandon Dunn, David Fales, Kyle Fuller, Shamiel Gary, Ryan Groy, Demontre Hurst, Christian Jones, Charles Leno Jr., Jr., Al Louis-Jean, Jacon Maxwell, Patrick O'Donnell, Michael Ola, Senorise Perry, Brock Vereen, and Marquess Wilson were all in attendance.

Guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails while mingling with their favorite Bears, and took part in some friendly competition on the lanes. Sean Rash, professional bowler and eight-time PBA Tour champion, also joined in the fun and competed in games that gave fans the chance to win Bears prizes.

The Bears and Bears Care welcomed students from the USO of Illinois who are part of the Teen/Tween Tuesdays with the Bears program. As part of this program, the Bears and the USO of Illinois team up to host quarterly events for pre-teen and teen-aged children of military service men and women. These events provide fun activities for children who typically move at least once every couple of years and are forced to adapt to new surroundings and make new friends with an added stress of separation from family due to multiple deployments.

Bears Bowl also included live and silent auctions that featured Bears tickets and other unique sports memorabilia. All proceeds from the event benefitted Bears Care, the charitable beneficiary of the Chicago Bears, which supports targeted programs in the areas of education, youth athletics and health awareness.
