One day after making their final cuts, the Bears continued to tweak their 53-man roster Sunday, signing tight end Logan Paulsen and claiming center Eric Kush and cornerback Cre'Von LeBlanc off waivers.

In corresponding moves, the Bears waived tight end Khari Lee, center Cornelius Edison and defensive back Demontre Hurst.

Logan Paulsen
Logan Paulsen appeared in 75 games with 42 starts over five seasons with the Redskins from 2010-14.

Paulsen, 29, appeared in 75 games with 42 starts over five seasons with the Redskins from 2010-14, catching 79 passes for 801 yards and six touchdowns. The 6-5, 268-pounder sat out all of last season with a toe injury. Paulsen entered the NFL with the Redskins in 2010 as an undrafted free agent from UCLA.

Kush, who turns 27 Friday, played three games with the Chiefs in 2013 and seven contests with the Rams last season. He also has spent time with the Buccaneers, Panthers and Texans. The 6-4, 315-pounder was selected by the Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2013 draft.

LeBlanc, 22, entered the NFL this year with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent from Florida Atlantic.

Lee appeared in all 16 games with seven starts in his first season with the Bears last year, catching one pass for seven yards. He was obtained in a trade with the Texans last Sept. 2 in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick.

Hurst played in 22 games with three starts the past two seasons with the Bears, registering 41 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and nine special-teams tackles.

Edison spent the final five weeks of his rookie season on the Bears' practice squad last year after recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in a pre-draft workout.

The Bears also signed six players to their practice squad Sunday: cornerback De'Vante Bausby, tight end Ben Braunecker, receiver Daniel Braverman, inside linebacker John Timu, tackle Jason Weaver and running back Senorise Perry.

All six players spent training camp and the preseason with the Bears before being waived.
