The Bears' honorary captain at Monday night's game against the Vikings was Steve Jones, a resident of Mayfield, Ky., which was recently hit by devastating tornadoes.

He attended the contest with his wife, Brenda, who is a charge floor nurse in Paducah, Ky., and has been treating tornado victims. Steve is a lifelong Bears fan, and along with his wife, a supporter of Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Bears.

In addition, the Bears have pledged a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross' Southern and Midwest Tornado Relief Fund.

Fans can show their support and help the affected communities by texting TORNADOES to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross.
