Already a dynamic duo on the field, Bears receivers Rome Odunze and Luther Burden III are also teaming up off the field as the NFL season approaches.
Odunze and Burden traveled to Austin, Texas, in mid-June to tape a television commercial for the NFL's Kickoff Brand Campaign titled "The Season is Your Stage."
The Bears teammates are featured alone in a :15 spot and with other NFL players in a :60 video creating and practicing celebrations in "The Celly Studio." The spots debuted Thursday and run throughout the season.
"It was cool, especially to be included with Luther," Odunze said. "We're going to have several celebrations this year, different things going on, so it was fun putting those together. It's a fun part of the game, being able to celebrate."
"It was awesome; a really cool experience," Burden added. "It was fun to link up with Rome and put something cool together. We're all excited for the season to start. That was great to spend some time with Rome and other players across the NFL to build hype for the season and celebrate TDs."
While Odunze starred in the Bears' schedule release video playing a Bob Ross-like character, this is his first NFL commercial.
"For me, it was just a fun thing to do," he said. "You only live once, so I'm trying to experience different things."
