Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been voted the FedEx Air Player of the Week for his performance in last Sunday's 35-16 win over the Jaguars in London.
Williams completed 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards with a career-high four touchdown passes and a 124.4 passer rating. He also rushed for 56 yards on four carries as the Bears improved to 4-2 with their third straight win.
Williams became the NFL's first rookie quarterback since 2000 to pass for at least 210 yards and four TDs with a completion percentage of at least 75 in a game. His 79.3 completion percentage was the best by a Bears rookie QB since at least 1970.
In the last two games, Williams has posted the two highest passer ratings by a Bears rookie quarterback since at least 1970. A week before the Jaguars game, Williams connected on 20 of 29 passes for 304 yards with two TDs and a 126.2 passer rating in a 36-10 victory over the Panthers at Soldier Field.
Every week during the NFL season, fans vote for the FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week. In addition to Williams, the other winner was Packers quarterback Jordan Love.
