The Chicago Bears are now accepting applications for the 2026 Community All-Pros, a $107,000 grant supporting a nonprofit organization making a meaningful difference across Chicagoland communities.
The annual Community All-Pros program recognizes organizations whose work aligns with the Chicago Bears' four impact pillars: health equity, economic advancement, education and community safety. Through the program, the Bears aim to support organizations addressing critical community needs while creating measurable and lasting impact.
Eligible nonprofit organizations must be located within the Chicagoland area, demonstrate a strong commitment to serving their communities and outline how the $107,000 grant would help further their mission and impact. Fans and community leaders are also encouraged to share the opportunity with organizations making a difference in their neighborhoods.
Applications will be accepted through Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026. Following the application period, submissions will be reviewed by the Chicago Bears Season Ticket Holder Committee, which will help select this year's recipient. The winning organization is expected to be selected and notified in early December.
The 2026 Community All-Pros recipient will receive a $107,000 grant and will be formally recognized on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2027, at Soldier Field when the Bears host the Detroit Lions.
"Community All-Pros is about recognizing organizations that are creating meaningful change and giving them additional resources to deepen their impact," said Tanesha Wade, Chicago Bears Executive Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Chief Impact Officer. "Nonprofit organizations are often closest to the needs of the communities they serve and understand where support make the greatest difference. Through this grant, we hope to help advance their mission and provide the necessary resources to continue strengthening communities and creating lasting impact across Chicagoland."
In 2025, the Bears awarded the $106,000 Community All-Pros Grant to Friends of the Children–Chicago, recognizing the organization's commitment to creating generational change through long-term, relationship-driven mentorship for Chicago youth facing significant obstacles. Representatives from the organization were invited to Halas Hall under the impression that they were participating in a final interview as part of the selection process. During the conversation, a Bears player surprised the group with the news that Friends of the Children–Chicago had officially been selected as the 2025 Community All-Pros recipient.
The Bears later recognized Friends of the Children–Chicago during the team's Inspire Change Game on Dec. 20, 2025, when the Bears hosted the Green Bay Packers, honoring the organization's long-term commitment to creating generational change through relationship-driven mentorship.
"Thank you, Chicago Bears, for showing up for Chicago children facing the greatest hardship and giving them the steady support of a Professional Mentor through Friends of the Children–Chicago," said Phalon Carpenter, Program Director at Friends of the Children–Chicago. "Thanks to you, our children have the space they need to build the skills, relationships and goals they need to thrive. It's about believing in a child and empowering them to be the leaders of tomorrow."
Since its launch in 2019, Community All-Pros has recognized nonprofit organizations working to create positive change throughout Chicagoland. Previous recipients include Friends of the Children–Chicago (2025), Children's Advocacy Center of North and Northwest Cook County (2024), Crushers Club (2023), A Safe Haven Foundation (2022), Chicago Youth Programs (2021) and Devices 4 The Disabled (2020), along with 10 nonprofit organizations recognized during the program's inaugural year in 2019.
