The National Football League and CBS on Thursday announced that the Chicago Bears will play on Thanksgiving Day, traveling to Detroit to face the Lions. Kickoff from Detroit on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026, is set for noon CT on CBS.
The Bears are set to play on Thanksgiving Day for the second time in the last three seasons. Chicago will travel to Detroit for their fourth-straight Thanksgiving Day bout against the Lions, as the Bears have won four of their last five Thanksgiving Day appearances, including three victories over Detroit. The Bears own 20 wins all-time on Thanksgiving Day, the third-most by any NFL club and the most by any team in the League that does not play on Thanksgiving Day every season.
The full 2026 Chicago Bears regular-season schedule will be unveiled at 6:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, with tickets going on sale to the general public at 7:30 p.m. CT.
