Loyola University basketball star Cameron Krutwig is a Chicago area native who helped the Ramblers reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament with an impressive upset win over Illinois last weekend.

As if that isn't enough reason to root for him, the Jacobs High School product is also an avid Bears fan, as evidenced by his Twitter feed—some of which we captured below.

On the basketball court, Krutwig was named Missouri Valley Conference player of the year and scholar athlete of the year and was voted third-team All-America. He became just the fourth MVC player to compile 1,500 points, 800 rebounds and 300 assists in a career, joining select company in Oscar Robertson, Larry Bird and Hersey Hawkins.
