Tickets for the 25th annual Bears Care Gala are now available for purchase.

The Gala, which will be held on Saturday, May 16, has awarded nearly $16 million in grants to fund innovative breast and ovarian cancer research and treatment programs in the Chicago area.

The event will be held in the United Club at Soldier Field at 6 p.m. and feature a cocktail hour, live and silent auctions, seated dinner and dancing to the music of Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra.

This year's Gala will also honor and remember former Bears running back Brian Piccolo, who fought a courageous battle against cancer that helped inspire the Gala decades ago; June 16, 2020, will mark the 50th anniversary of his passing.

Coach Matt Nagy, front office executives, and Bears players, past and present, will be in attendance. Jeff Joniak, voice of the Bears on WBBM Newsradio 780 and 105.9 FM, will emcee the event.

Fans who are unable to attend can still support the Bears Care mission by bidding online for a variety of Bears experiences and memorabilia. Details on auction items and how to bid online will be available in May at ChicagoBears.com/BearsCareGala.

Over the years, Bears Care has provided numerous scientists the opportunity to advance their research from the lab to the patient bedside and ultimately to the highest level, opening the door to the potential of national funding.

Proceeds from the 2019 Bears Care Gala are invested in a variety of projects detailed here.
