Bears host girls flag football clinic in partnership with Rockford Park District

For the third consecutive year, the Bears have partnered with the Rockford Park District to host and support a girls flag football clinic. This year's event focused on preparing girls for the first season of girls' flag football as an IHSA-sanctioned sport. Nearly 100 girls attended the clinic to learn and practice their flag football skills and receive coaching and advice from linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and offensive assistant Jennifer King, the first Black female coach in the NFL.

Bears tight end Cole Kmet worked alongside United Airlines' Special Olympics Service Ambassadors at O'Hare International Airport to help drive awareness of United's Miles on a Mission program, which allows loyalty customers to donate their unused airline miles to support Special Olympics athletes' travel needs.
