2022 SEASON (BEARS): Started and played in 14 games during his rookie campaign...Compiled a career-best 10 total tackles (eight solo) in Week 5 at Minnesota...Also blocked Minnesota kicker Greg Joseph's 51-yard field goal attempt with in the third quarter...Marked Chicago's first blocked field goal of the season and their first field goal block since 2020...Recorded first career interception in Week 7 against the Patriots...In Week 16, intercepted Jalen Hurts in the first quarter and later recovered a fumble...Marked the first time a Bears player had an interception and fumble recovery in the same game since Roquan Smith did so at Jacksonville in 2020...Also the fourth Bears rookie with such a performance since Eddie Jackson in 2017...In Week 16, picked off Josh Allen in the second quarter, marking his second straight game with an interception...Became the fourth Bears defensive back since 2000 to log interceptions in consecutive games of his rookie season, joining Charles Tillman (2003), Nathan Vasher (2004) and Kyle Fuller (2014)...Finished season with 71 tackles (55 solo), three interceptions, six passes defensed, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
