Monsters of the Midway trading cards by Invisalign are back for a fifth consecutive year.
The Bears once again have collaborated with Athlitacomics — a comic company started by former defensive lineman Israel Idonije — to create 20,000 free packs of cards produced by Panini. The Monsters of the Midway trading cards are an expansion of the original comic strip campaign that debuted in 2018, melding the world of comics and sports.
"The Bears are excited to be celebrating the fifth year of the iconic Monsters of the Midway trading cards and continuing our longstanding collaboration with Athlitacomics and Israel Idonije," Bears vice president of fan development and brand marketing Sarah Smith said. "This year, in partnership with Invisalign, we had the opportunity to bring our fans a special edition of the trading cards that not only showcases some of our 2025 roster, but also features a pair of exclusive cards honoring the 40th anniversary of Super Bowl XX, connecting us to all facets of our fanbase."
Only 100 full, numbered collector's sets exist and will be given away to 10 lucky fans each month during the season who enter the 2025 Monsters of the Midway Trading Card Sweepstakes by Invisalign. The sweepstakes will run Aug. 28 – Jan. 4. To enter, either scan the QR code on the Monsters of the Midway trading card packet or visit https://www.chicagobears.com/fan-zone/monsters-of-the-midway-trading-cards.

The 2025 full set features 31 cards, which includes a mix of standard cards and five current player cards in a foil finish — Caleb Williams, Jaylon Johnson, Kyler Gordon, T.J. Edwards and Joe Thuney.
As part of the Monsters of the Midway universe, each player featured possess a unique power that plays off their natural skillset on the football field. Some of those powers include Williams' "light improvisation," punter Tory Taylor's "mega kick," tight end Colston Loveland's "molten power" and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett's "metallic arms."
The exclusive full sets will also include limited edition 1985 Bears 40th Anniversary Mike Ditka and Dan Hampton foil cards, which can only be acquired through the sweepstakes.
Another special feature of the set is when the standard cards are lined up in numerical order, a mural of the "Monsters of the Midway" logo is created.

Throughout the 2025 season, the free packs of cards — which contains seven randomized player cards — will be distributed at Bears home games and fan events, Staley Da Bear appearances, Away Game Watch Parties by Miller Lite, Bears Fit, Chicago Bears Kids Club activations, Mini Monsters Youth Football Clinics and through a variety of surprise and delight giveaways on the Chicago Bears Official App brought to you by Verizon, social media and alongside community partners (while supplies last).
