The Bears on Tuesday launched "Meet the Rookies," a three-part documentary series, that offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at three of the team's 2023 NFL Draft picks.

Powered by CDW, the series features defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr. (53rd overall pick), defensive lineman Zacch Pickens (64th overall pick) and running back Roschon Johnson (115th overall pick).

This marks the ninth straight year of "Meet the Rookies," which details each rookie's journey to the NFL and is hosted by Bears play-by-play broadcaster Jeff Joniak. To capture the in-depth stories, the Bears' content team traveled to the players' hometowns, speaking with family and former coaches.

The series can be viewed on ChicagoBears.com, the Chicago Bears Official App brought to you by Verizon and the team's social media channels, including YouTube. It will culminate with a 30-minute special featuring all three episodes on FOX 32 Chicago July 22 at 9:30 p.m (CT).

While Dexter's episode released Tuesday morning, Pickens' episode will release July 18 at 9 a.m. and Johnson's will release July 24 at 9 a.m.

During Dexter's formative years at Wales Senior High School in Lake Wales, Fla., he primarily focused on basketball, showcasing his skills on both the school team and a travel team that included the current Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes. However, Dexter made the transition to football during his final two years of high school, embarking on a path that led him to the NFL.

Pickens' journey is deeply influenced by his single mother's unwavering support and sacrifices, which have played a pivotal role in shaping him into the humble and tenacious individual he is today. Their enduring bond and the values instilled during his upbringing have served as the foundation for Pickens' character, driving him to overcome challenges and ultimately achieve his dream of making it to the NFL.

Johnson, an impressive All-American quarterback during his high school years, made a transition to the running back position when he joined the University of Texas as a freshman. Despite the presence of star running back Bijan Robinson, Johnson's unwavering dedication to the team motivated him to remain with the Longhorns. Thanks to his versatility and determination, Johnson is poised to become an immediate contributor for the Bears during his rookie season.
