Here are some notable numbers and stats from the Bears' thrilling 31-27 comeback win over the Packers in Saturday night's wild card showdown at Soldier Field:

18

Deficit in points the Bears overcame, the most in a postseason game in franchise history and the most in an NFL playoff game since 2022 when the Jaguars came back from 27 points down to beat the Chargers 31-30. It was the fourth biggest comeback in Bears history, including the regular season. The only larger ones were 20 points versus the Buccaneers Oct. 25, 1987, and Cardinals Oct. 16, 2006, and 19 points against the 49ers Oct. 28, 2001.

25

Points scored by the Bears in the fourth quarter, the second most they've produced in the final period in a game in team history, trailing only the 28 they tallied in a 41-3 win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville Oct. 7, 2012. The Bears are the third team in NFL history to score at least 25 points in the fourth quarter of a postseason game, joining the 1934 Giants and 1992 Eagles.

4

Teams that have rallied to win a playoff game after trailing by at least 15 points in the fourth quarter. The Bears are the first to do it since the Patriots rallied from a 28-9 deficit to beat the Falcons 34-28 in overtime in Super Bowl LI.

Head coaches in Bears history who have won a postseason game in their first year at the helm. Ben Johnson became the first individual to achieve that feat Saturday.

361

Yards passing by Caleb Williams, the most by a quarterback in Bears postseason history, topping Mitchell Trubisky's 303 yards Jan. 16, 2019, against the Eagles. It was the most yards by Williams this season and the second most in his career, trailing only the 363 yards he compiled Sept. 22, 2024, in Indianapolis.

1

Rookie tight ends who have caught at least eight passes for at least 100 yards in a playoff game in NFL history. Colston Loveland accomplished that feat with eight receptions for 137 yards, including gains of 29, 22, 22, 21 and 19 yards. His 137 yards were the second most by a Bears player in postseason history, trailing only Allen Robinson II's 143 yards Jan. 16, 2019, versus Philadelphia.

51

Yards Cairo Santos' field goal traveled in the fourth quarter, the longest in Bears postseason history, topping Robbie Gould's 49-yarder that beat the Seahawks 27-24 in overtime Jan. 14, 2007, at Soldier Field.

37

Yards Devin Duvernay covered on a third-quarter punt return, the second longest in Bears history behind Hugh Gallarneau's 81-yard touchdown against the Packers Dec. 14, 1941, at Wrigley Field.

1

Games the Bears have won this season without generating a takeaway. Saturday night was only the third time this year they did not force a turnover, and they had lost on the previous two occasions at Detroit and at Baltimore. The Bears forced four Green Bay fumbles but were unable to recover any of them. The Bears led the NFL with 33 takeaways in the regular season had produced at least one in 10 straight games prior to Saturday night. The Packers were 7-1 during the regular season when not committing a turnover.

5

Penalty yards assessed against the Bears, their fewest in a game since Nov. 16, 2020, when they also had five Nov. 16, 2020, versus the Vikings. The five yards came on a false start by center Drew Dalman. A second flag for a kickoff short of the landed zone was not assessed yardage.

Years since the Bears did not punt in a game. It happened Saturday night for the first time since Sept. 28, 2014, also against the Packers at Soldier Field. It was the first time the Bears did not punt in a postseason game in franchise history.
