The Chicago Bears on Wednesday announced that the club has acquired offensive lineman Garrett Bradbury and a 2026 second-round selection via trades.
The Bears acquired Bradbury in a trade with the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round selection. Additionally, Chicago acquired a 2026 second-round pick in a trade with the Buffalo Bills in exchange for wide receiver DJ Moore and a 2026 fifth-round selection.
Bradbury has started all 105-career regular-season games played at center for the Minnesota Vikings (2019-24) and New England Patriots (2025) since entering the league as a first-round selection by Minnesota (18th overall) in 2019. A seven-year NFL veteran, Bradbury started all 17 regular-season games for the Patriots last season, as well as all three of New England's postseason outings en route to an appearance in Super Bowl LX. Prior to joining the Patriots in 2025, Bradbury spent six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, starting 92 career games at center (postseason included), including all 17 regular-season games in 2024, his last season with Minnesota.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Bradbury appeared in 48 career games over five seasons at North Carolina State (2014-18), starting each of his final 39 career games along the offensive front for the Wolfpack. As a team captain in 2018, Bradbury culminated his final collegiate season by being awarded the Rimington Trophy, which is presented annually to the top center in college football, and receiving First-Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference recognition.
