Signature event to support innovative breast and ovarian cancer research across Chicago
The Chicago Bears and Bears Care announced that tickets are now available for the 29th Bears Care Gala, taking place Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the United Club at Soldier Field. The Gala, the organizations' premier philanthropic event, raises funds to advance breast and ovarian cancer research and to reduce disparities in women's cancer care throughout Chicago.
Chicago Bears players, coaches, alumni and executives will attend the evening, which annually brings together fans, partners and supporters united in the fight against cancer. Tickets and event information are available at ChicagoBears.com/BearsCareGala.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktail receptions, followed by a formal program, dinner, dancing and both live and silent auctions featuring one-of-a-kind Bears memorabilia and exclusive experiences. Additional event details, including confirmed attendees, will be shared closer to the day of the event on the Bears Care Gala website.
For supporters unable to attend, there are several ways to participate including event sponsorships, donating auction items, making a monetary donation or bidding remotely in the silent auction in May. Those interested in sponsorship opportunities can contact bearscaregala@bears.nfl.net for more information.
Since its inception, the Bears Care Gala has raised millions of dollars to support innovative research, the development of life-changing therapies and programs that seek to achieve equity in women's cancer care. With the success of last year's Gala, Bears Care was able to invest over $1 million in these initiatives in 2025. A detailed report of where Bears Care funds are currently at work in our community can be found in our “About the Gala” report on the event webpage.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured and auction bid placed directly contributes to lifesaving research and expanded access to care for patients across Chicago. To purchase tickets or learn more about how to get involved, visit ChicagoBears.com/BearsCareGala.
