More than a dozen of Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” stars, including cast members from “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story,” visited a Chicago firehouse Tuesday to offer support to first responders mourning the loss of firefighter/EMT Michael “Mickey” Altman.

With production wrapping last month in the Chicago area, the starting lineup for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story has been named. The film will feature cameo appearances from head coach Ben Johnson, tight end Colston Loveland, tight end Cole Kmet, alumni Mike Singletary, Charles “Peanut” Tillman and Dan Hampton, and beloved mascot Staley Da Bear.

Hallmark Media, NFL and Skydance Sports on Thursday announced that the Chicago Bears have been drafted for Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story, the third all-new original movie in the successful franchise, set to premiere later in 2026 during Hallmark Channel’s 17th annual Countdown to Christmas programming event. The announcement was made through a video featuring Bears head coach Ben Johnson and tight end Colston Loveland.
