The Bears will open their regular-season home schedule by honoring former star middle linebacker Brian Urlacher for his recent Pro Football Hall of Fame induction with a Ring of Excellence ceremony at halftime of Monday night's game against the Seahawks.

Former teammates expected to attend the ceremony include Lance Briggs, Alex Brown, Mike Brown, Matt Forte, Roberto Garza, Israel Idonije, Olin Kreutz, Patrick Mannelly, Jason McKie, Adewale Ogunleye, Nick Roach, Charles Tillman and Nathan Vasher. Pro Football Hall of Fame President David Baker will be in attendance. The Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence is created by Kay Jewelers.

In addition to honoring Urlacher with the special halftime ceremony, the Hall of Fame will have his bust on-site for fan photo opportunities. The bust will be located in the south courtyard for photo opportunities until the end of the first quarter. Additional activations and photo opportunities will be located in the Miller Lite Fan Zone, Miller Lite Ultimate Tailgate and at the Dr Pepper Patio, including an Urlacher locker room display, green screens, giant 54s and more. The Dr Pepper Patio will also feature a live graffiti artist.
