Bears rookies teamed up with football players from North Chicago High School May 25 to help pack produce at the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Bears players, coaches and executives were at Soldier Field May 13 to walk the orange carpet and help support cancer research at the annual Bears Care Gala.

Every season, the Brian Piccolo Award is given to one rookie and one veteran who best exemplifies the courage, loyalty, teamwork, dedication and sense of humor of the late Bears running back. Take a look at the winners of this award dating back to 1970.

The Bears were out in the community Tuesday, as players visited The Firehouse Community Arts Center to help distribute food and Thanksgiving packages to members of the North Lawndale community, the Chosen Tabernacle Food Pantry to help patrons pick out their Thanksgiving items and the Most Blessed Trinity Food Pantry in Waukegan.
