Restricted free agent receiver and special teams contributor Joshua Bellamy on Wednesday signed his one-year tender offer from the Bears.

Bellamy, 28, has spent the past four seasons with the Bears, appearing in 51 games with 12 starts and compiling 62 receptions for 882 yards and four touchdowns. He has also been a key special teams contributor, registering 17 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Last season Bellamy played in 15 games with seven starts, establishing career highs with 24 catches and 376 yards. His lone touchdown of the year came on a 46-yard pass from Mitchell Trubisky in a Week 10 loss to the Packers at Soldier Field.

Following the 2016 season, Bellamy received the Brian Piccolo Award, which is voted on by Bears players and presented to the teammate who best exemplifies the courage, loyalty, teamwork, dedication and sense of humor of Brian Piccolo.
