The NFL has moved the kickoff of next Sunday's regular-season finale between the Bears and Packers at Soldier Field from noon to 3:25 p.m. (CT).

The Bears (8-7) will secure the No. 7 seed (and third wild card berth) in the NFC playoffs with a win over the Packers or a Cardinals (8-7) loss to the Rams (9-6). The Cardinals-Rams game in Los Angeles also will begin at 3:25 p.m. Chicago time.

The Bears can also land the No. 6 seed (and second wild card berth) with a win over the Packers coupled with a Cardinals victory over the Rams. The status of Los Angeles quarterback Jared Goff is unknown due to a thumb injury he sustained Sunday in a loss to the Seahawks.

The season finale against the Bears will be meaningful for the Packers, who have yet to clinch the No. 1 seed and first-round bye. Green Bay will secure the top seed with a win over the Bears or a Seahawks loss to the 49ers in a game that will be played in Arizona due to COVID-19 restrictions in San Francisco.
