As expected, the Bears on Monday placed safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, tackle T.J. Clemmings and defensive lineman Jonathan Harris on the physically-unable-to-perform (PUP) list.

Clinton-Dix sustained a sprained knee late in the offseason program, Clemmings is returning from a knee injury he suffered last season with the Raiders and Harris has a minor hamstring injury.

General manager Ryan Pace told reporters during his pre-training camp press conference Sunday that the three players likely would start camp on the PUP list. The Bears are scheduled to report to Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais Thursday and practice for the first time Friday.

Pace also said that he expects Clinton-Dix, Clemmings and Harris to be on the PUP list for only a short period of time. The three players are eligible to begin practicing at any point during camp.

Clinton-Dix signed with the Bears in March after spending his first five NFL seasons with the Packers (2014-18) and Redskins (2018). He has never missed a game since entering the league and has made 74 straight starts since joining Green Bay's No. 1 defense in Week 7 of his rookie year.

While Clinton-Dix, Clemmings and Harris will begin training camp on the PUP list, tight end Trey Burton and receiver Anthony Miller are expected to be ready to practice when camp starts after recovering from offseason surgeries.
