Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in last Sunday's 31-14 win over the Cowboys.

The second-year pro posted a career-high 142.6 passer rating and matched a career high with four touchdown passes, including a 65-yarder on a flea flicker to rookie receiver Luther Burden III, which was the longest pass of Williams' career.

The No. 1 pick in the 2024 draft also threw TD passes of 35 yards to receiver Rome Odunze, 10 yards to tight end Cole Kmet and four yards to receiver DJ Moore on fourth-and-goal to cap a 19-play, 76-yard drive. Williams led an offense that did not allow a sack or commit a pre-snap penalty or turnover.

The Bears quarterback enters Week 4 tied for second in the NFL with seven touchdown passes and shares the lead league with nine completions of at least 25 yards.

Williams is the first Bears player to win NFC Offensive Player of the Week honors since Moore in Week 5 of the 2023 season and the team's first quarterback since Justin Fields in Week 9 of the 2022 campaign.
