Bears reveal jersey numbers for new players


The Bears have announced the jersey numbers the players they've acquired this offseason will wear. Here's a complete list (in numerical order):

14 Andy Dalton, quarterback

Dalton has worn No. 14 in all 10 of his NFL seasons with the Bengals (2011-19) and Cowboys (2020). The last Bears player to wear No. 14 in a regular-season game was receiver Deonte Thompson from 2015-17.

21 Desmond Trufant, cornerback

Trufant wore No. 21 with the Falcons (2013-19) and No. 23 with the Lions (2020). The last Bears player to wear No. 21 was safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix in 2019.

25 Damien Williams, running back

Williams wore No. 34 with the Dolphins in his first two NFL seasons (2014-15) before switching to No. 26 with Miami (2016-17). He also wore No. 26 with the Chiefs (2018-19). The last Bears player to wear No. 25 was running back Mike Davis in 2019.

50 Jeremiah Attaochu, outside linebacker

Attaochu wore No. 97 with the Chargers (2014-17) and Broncos (2019-2020) and No. 55 with the Jets (2018). Outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo wore No. 50 with the Bears last season.

57 Christian Jones, linebacker

Jones wore No. 59 (2014-15) and No. 52 (2016-17) with the Bears and No. 52 with the Lions (2019-20). He will become the first Bears player to don three different numbers since safety Cameron Worrell, who wore Nos. 24, 44 and 45 with the Bears from 2003-06 and 2008. The last Bears player to wear No. 57 was linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis in 2019.

70 Elijah Wilkinson, offensive line

Wilkinson wore No. 68 in all four of his NFL seasons with the Broncos (2017-20). Tackle Bobby Massie previously wore No. 70 with the Bears from 2016-20.

82 Jester Weah, receiver

Weah wore No. 19 with Washington in 2019. Return specialist Dwayne Harris wore No. 82 with the Bears last season.

90 Angelo Blackson, defensive line

Blackson wore No. 95 with the Titans (2015-16), No. 97 with the Texans (2017-19) and No. 96 with the Cardinals (2020). Defensive tackle John Jenkins wore No. 90 with the Bears last season.

Receiver Thomas Ives from 14 to 19

SafetyJordan Lucas from 21 to 23

Cornerback Artie Burns from 37 to 24
