The Chicago Bears are celebrating Bears fans from all over the world with the launch of Bears Prize Hour by Dr Pepper, a weeklong digital giveaway experience available exclusively through the Chicago Bears Official App brought to you by Verizon.
Beginning Monday, Dec. 29, and running through Saturday, Jan. 3, Bears Prize Hour by Dr Pepper will give fans multiple opportunities each day to win prizes through a series of "timed drops" inside a live chat room within the app. The activation leads into the Bears' Fan Appreciation Game against the Detroit Lions, scheduled for Jan. 3 or Jan. 4.
To participate, fans must have an account on the Chicago Bears Official App and the latest version of the app installed. Fans can take part in three Prize Hours each day at 9 a.m., 12 p.m., and 7 p.m. CT, Monday through Saturday. During each Prize Hour, one prize package will be awarded every 10 minutes, totaling six prizes per hour and 18 total prizes per day. Prizes include limited-edition collectibles, premium Bears gear and exclusive Dr Pepper items.
In total, 108 prizes will be awarded throughout the week, in addition to one grand prize: an entire pallet of Dr Pepper.
Each Prize Hour will feature a live countdown, during which fans can enter the chat room for a chance to win. When the countdown reaches zero, one participant will be randomly selected as the winner. All participants throughout the week will automatically be entered into the grand prize drawing.
