Miller and Rhattigan join the Bears after participating in Chicago's 2026 Rookie Minicamp on a veteran try-out basis. A seven-year NFL veteran, Miller arrives in Chicago after spending the last two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers (2024-25). Since entering the league as a sixth-round selection (208th overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2019 NFL Draft, Miller has appeared in 93 career regular-season games (nine starts) for the Buccaneers (2019-22), Atlanta Falcons (2023) and Steelers (2024-25). Miller set single-season career-high marks in receptions (33), receiving yards (501) and receiving touchdowns (three), helping Tampa Bay to a World Championship with a victory in Super Bowl LV. Over his career, Miller has totaled 99 career receptions for 1,216 yards (12.3 avg.) and six receiving touchdowns. A native of Barrington, Ill., Miller prepped at Bowling Green (2015-18), where he earned All-Mid-American Conference recognition following each of his final three collegiate seasons, including first-team honors in 2016. Rhattigan joins Chicago after spending his first five NFL seasons with the Seattle Seahawks (2021-23), Carolina Panthers (2024), Pittsburgh Steelers (2025) and Las Vegas Raiders (2025). Since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2021, Rhattigan has appeared in 65 career regular-season games, amassing 42 career special-teams tackles. A native of Naperville, Ill., Rhattigan played four seasons at Army (2017-20), amassing a career-high 78 tackles for the Black Knights. In 2020, helped Army secure the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy.

Joining Chicago as undrafted free agents, Hudson and Matthews participated in the Bears' 2026 Rookie Minicamp on a rookie try-out basis. Hudson spent his final collegiate season at Penn State (2025) after starting his career at Southern California (2021-24). Over his collegiate career, Hudson appeared in 53 career games (19 starts), amassing 95 career receptions for 1,095 yards (11.5 avg.) and 10 receiving touchdowns. A native of Duarte, Calif., Hudson saw action in all 13 games last season at Penn State, starting six at wide receiver. Matthews appeared in 47 career collegiate games for Old Dominion (2021-23) and Michigan State (2024-25), registering 254 career tackles, including 14 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Matthews started all 12 games at linebacker for Michigan State in 2025, registering the second-most tackles among all Spartan defenders (73), earning Honorable Mention All-Big Ten Conference recognition. Prior to transferring to Michigan State, Matthews spent three seasons at Old Dominion (2021-23), capping his tenure at Old Dominion with All-Sun Belt Conference honors in 2023 after registering the second-most tackles by any defender in the conference (135).
