santos-btn-2023-week-18

Take a look at some of the notable stats and numbers from the Bears' Week 18 game against the Green Bay Packers and the 2023 season as a whole:

35

Field goals by Cairo Santos this season

The Bears kicker hit three field goals Sunday to break the franchise single-season record for most field goals made. Robbie Gould previously held the record with 33 FGs in 2015.

96

Career-high receptions for DJ Moore

A week after setting new career-highs in receiving yards and touchdowns in a single season, Moore exceeded his previous career-high in receptions (93) after catching four passes Sunday.

Moore recorded 93 receptions in 2021 with the Panthers.

1,364

Receiving yards for Moore this season

With his 64 yards against the Packers, Moore climbed up in the Bears record books. His 1,364 yards are now the fourth most in franchise history in a single season, trailing Brandon Marshall (1,508 in 2012), Alshon Jeffery (1,421 in 2013) and Marcus Robinson (1,400 in 1999).

100th

Game for Eddie Jackson

The 2023 season finale also marked Jackson's 100th game in the NFL. The seven-year pro has also started each of those 100 games, all with the Bears, since being drafted in the fourth round in 2017.

111

Rushing yards by Packers RB Aaron Jones

For the first time this season, the Bears defense allowed a player to run for 100+ yards in a game. Jones has now rushed for 100+ yards in three consecutive games.

Jones had 141 total yards from scrimmage, as he also caught five passes for 30 yards. The veteran running back accounted for all but 13 of the Packers' rushing yards.

153

Tackles by T.J. Edwards this season

With 10 tackles Sunday, Edwards passed Brian Urlacher for third on the Bears single-season tackle list, dating back to at least 1991.

Edwards led the Bears in tackles in his first season in Chicago. Fellow linebacker Tremaine Edmunds was second with 113, including nine against the Packers.

0

Points allowed by Bears defense in first quarter since Week 11

The Bears defense shut out its opponents in the first quarter for the final seven games of the season. The unit continued its streak after Packers kicker Anders Carlson missed a 41-yard field goal in the first period.
