Here are some notable numbers and stats from the Bears' exciting 24-20 comeback win over the Giants Sunday at Soldier Field:

4

Fourth-quarter comebacks engineered by Caleb Williams this season, tied with the Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield and the Broncos' Bo Nix for the most by an NFL quarterback. The four comeback victories have all come in the Bears' last seven games, with three on the road and Sunday's the first at Soldier Field. Williams has generated five fourth-quarter comeback wins in his last 10 starts dating back to last year's season finale against the Packers in Green Bay.

10

Point deficit the Bears overcame in the fourth quarter, their largest to win a game in the final period since Dec. 26, 2021, when they trailed the Seahawks 24-14 before rallying to win 25-24 in Seattle.

3 and 25

Penalties and penalty yards the Bears were assessed Sunday, their fewest in both categories this season.

0

Sacks allowed by the Bears Sunday, the second game this season in which they did not permit a sack. Williams has taken 14 sacks in nine games this year after being sacked 68 times in his 17 starts last season as a rookie.

9

Consecutive games to open the season in which the Bears have scored in the first quarter. They produced points in the first period in just four of 17 contests last year.

20

Takeaways the Bears have generated this season, the most in the NFL. Their one Sunday came when nickel back C.J. Gardner-Johnson forced a Jaxson Dart fumble that Nahshon Wright recovered in the third quarter. The Bears also lead the NFL with a plus-14 turnover ratio.

18

Games played by Williams without throwing an interception since the start of the 2024 season, tied for the most in the NFL.

2

Sacks that Gardner-Johnson recorded Sunday, becoming the first Bears defensive back with multiple sacks in a game since cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. also had 2.0 Dec. 17, 2006, in a 34-31 overtime win over the Buccaneers. Gardner-Johnson is only the second NFL DB to record 3.0 sacks in his first two games with a team, joining the Houston Oilers' Rod Kush in 1985.

6

Victories for the Bears this season—all in their last seven games—surpassing last year's total of five with eight contests still left to play.

30

Points the Bears have scored in the fourth quarter the past two weeks, the most in the NFL.

4

Consecutive games in which Montez Sweat has recorded a sack. With 1.5 Sunday, he increased his season total to a team-leading 5.5, including 4.5 in the last four contests.

78

Explosive plays—passes for at least 20 yards and runs of at least 10 yards—by the Bears, the most in the NFL. The offense generated nine Sunday, including four on its two late TD drives on Williams' 20-yard pass to tight end Colston Loveland, Williams' 29-yard run, Williams' 27-yard pass to receiver Luther Burden III and Williams' game-winning 17-yard TD scamper.

63

Williams' yards rushing Sunday, a season high and the second most of his career behind only a 70-yard effort Nov. 17, 2024, against the Packers at Soldier Field.
