The National Football League unveiled the complete 2025 regular-season schedule on Wednesday.
This season, the Chicago Bears are scheduled to play games on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, the first occurrence in team history. Opening the season on Monday Night Football, the Bears are scheduled to appear in the renowned primetime slot twice within the first six weeks of the season, as well as spotlight in a Week 16 premier Saturday showdown on FOX and take part in the third-annual Black Friday game on Prime Video.
The Bears will commence the 2025 season at home against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 1. This season marks the fourth-straight year that Chicago will start the regular season at home, and the first season-opening game on Monday Night Football since 1997. The Bears have won three out of their last five games on Kickoff Weekend, including last season's Week 1 home victory over Tennessee. The Bears have opened the regular season on Monday Night Football on three occasions (1987, 1996 and 1997), claiming victory in two home contests (1987 and 1996).
For the first time since 2002, Chicago will kick off the regular season against Minnesota, where the Bears own a 3-2 (.667) advantage in the five season-opening meetings between the two NFC North Division foes. The Bears own eight wins all-time against Minnesota on Monday Night Football, the club's most against any single opponent in the renowned Monday night primetime slot. Chicago also owns a 31-14-1 mark (.685) in season-opening games at home, posting a 57-43-5 (.567) all-time record in the first game of the season.
After opening the regular season on Monday Night Football, the Bears will travel to Detroit for a Week 2 matchup on FOX, solidifying the first two games of the regular season against NFC North Division opponents, marking the first such occurrence of consecutive divisional bouts within the first two weeks of the regular season since 2006. The Bears lead the all-time series over Detroit, 105-80-5 (.566).
The Bears return to Chicago in Week 3 for a 3:25 p.m. CT matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on FOX. Chicago will host Dallas for the first time since 2019, a series in which the Bears own a 7-6 (.538) advantage all-time in regular-season meetings at home. The Bears have won two out of their last three home meetings against the Cowboys, averaging 34.7 points over the previous three home bouts between the two clubs. Chicago will then travel to Las Vegas for the second time in club history, taking on the Raiders in Week 4 at 3:25 p.m. CT on CBS. Chicago owns a 9-8 (.529) all-time advantage over the Raiders, which includes victories in three out of the last four matchups, and five out of the previous seven meetings between the two clubs.
After four games, the Bears will have their annual bye week, falling in Week 5 in 2025. Chicago's bye registers as the fifth Week 5 bye week since the format was instituted in 1990, and the first occurrence of a Week 5 bye for the Bears since 2018.

The Bears return from the bye for a Week 6 primetime matchup against the Washington Commanders, the club's second appearance on Monday Night Football of the season. The two historic franchises have met just once on Monday Night Football, with Chicago defeating Washington in their only previous Monday night contest (2019). A rivalry dating back to 1932, this year's meeting marks 85 seasons since Chicago's win over Washington in the 1940 NFL Championship Game, granting the Bears the franchise's fourth World Championship.
Following the Bears' second Monday Night Football appearance of the season, the New Orleans Saints will visit Chicago. The Week 7 matchup against the Saints will mark the first time the Bears host New Orleans since 2020, a renewal of a conference rivalry that featured the Bears defeating the Saints in the 2006 NFC Championship Game. Chicago will then travel to take on AFC North Division opponents in back-to-back weeks, taking on the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8, before battling the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 9, both of which will be featured on CBS. Chicago has won each of their last three meetings against the Bengals, scoring at least 20 points in each win, and claiming victory in two out of the last three matchups against the Ravens, including a 2017 overtime bout in Baltimore.
The Bears return to Chicago in Week 10, hosting the New York Giants. The Bears enter the 2025 matchup having won four-straight against the Giants in games held in Chicago, dating back to 2013. In a storied rivalry spanning over 100 seasons, the Bears defeated the Giants to claim four of the franchise's NFL Championships, including three in NFL Championship Games held in Chicago. After Week 10, the Bears return to Minnesota, taking on the Vikings in Week 11, marking the 130th all-time meeting between the two franchises (postseason included). Chicago will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12, where the Bears own a 12-1 (.923) all-time advantage at home against the Steelers. The Bears have won each of the last two home bouts against Pittsburgh and three of their last four overall meetings against the Steelers.
In Week 13, the Bears will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, November 28th. The third-annual Black Friday game will stream exclusively on Prime Video. Chicago owns a 29-17-1 (.628) all-time advantage over the Eagles (postseason included), with a 13-9-1 (.567) mark in road matchups against Philadelphia. The Black Friday meeting will mark Chicago's first regular-season game played on a Friday since 1966, and just the fourth Friday regular-season game in franchise history. Chicago will then travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers in Week 14, the season's first meeting against the NFC North Division foe. The Bears defeated the Packers in the 2024 season finale at Lambeau Field, the last meeting between the two clubs. After two consecutive road bouts, the Bears return to Chicago for home contests in Weeks 15 and 16. In Week 15, the Bears will host the Cleveland Browns. The Bears have won four-straight home games against the Browns, dating back to 1986.
Chicago will host Green Bay in Week 16, marking the club's first scheduled regular-season Saturday bout since 2022. The Week 16 contest will mark the 210th all-time regular season meeting between the two clubs. The Bears will play the Packers twice in two weeks for the first time since 1998 and twice in 13 days for the first time since 1985. The Bears then return to the Bay Area in Week 17 for a Sunday Night Football showdown with the San Francisco 49ers.
The regular season concludes at home in Week 18 with a matchup against the Detroit Lions, the first time Chicago has ended the season against Detroit at home since 2016. The Bears have culminated the regular season against the Lions on nine occasions since at least 1962, with Chicago winning seven of the nine bouts. The Bears will close the season against the Lions for the first time since 2015. The Bears are 14-5 in season finales versus Detroit, with three of those wins occurring in 1946, 1963 and 1985, Chicago's last three championship seasons.
Chicago's 2025 preseason opponents have also been finalized. The Bears will open the preseason at home against the Miami Dolphins, then host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, August 17, and close their preseason slate on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, August 22.
