The Bears on Wednesday signed veteran free-agent receiver and return specialist Trevor Davis to a one-year contract.

Davis, 26, has appeared in 43 NFL games with four starts in four seasons with the Packers (2016-19), Raiders (2019) and Dolphins (2019), catching 16 passes for 205 yards and one touchdown. The 6-1, 188-pounder also has averaged 10.1 yards on 59 punt returns and 22.4 yards on 58 kickoff returns.

Davis was selected by the Packers in the fifth round of the 2016 draft out of California. He appeared in 31 games, all as a reserve with Green Bay, before being traded to the Raiders on Sept. 18, 2019.

Davis played in nine games with four starts for Oakland, catching seven passes for 83 yards, including career highs with four receptions for 42 yards in a 24-21 win over the Bears in London.

After being waived Dec. 3, he was claimed by the Dolphins the next day and appeared in the final three games of the season with Miami, averaging 5.5 yards on six punt returns and 23.8 yards on four kickoff returns.
