(10) Bears 21, Packers 10
Dec. 11, 1977
With a game-time temperature of 3 degrees and a wind chill of minus-10 at Soldier Field, Walter Payton rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Bears to a key win that kept them in contention for a playoff berth that they would earn a week later in a season-ending overtime win over the Giants.

With a game-time temperature of 8 degrees and a wind chill of minus-9 at Soldier Field, Josh McCown passed for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth to lead the Bears to an impressive Monday night win over the Cowboys.

With a kickoff temperate of 1 degree and a wind chill of minus-17, Jim McMahon threw two touchdown passes before Bob Thomas booted a 22-yard field goal with :10 remaining in the game to lift the Bears to the victory.

Severe weather and tornado warnings near Soldier Field caused fans to evacuate the stands and the game to be delayed for nearly two hours. When play resumed, the Bears rallied from a 17-10 deficit to defeat the Ravens on Robbie Gould's 38-yard field goal in overtime.

The temperature was a balmy 51 degrees at Soldier Field, but 26 mile-an-hour winds created some plays that will live on forever in "football follies" videos. Nathan Vasher returned a missed field goal for a then-NFL record 108 yards for a touchdown and the Bears held the 49ers out of the end zone.

With a game-time temperature of 12 degrees and a wind chill of minus-3, the Bears iced Michael Vick and an explosive Falcons offense on a frigid Sunday night at Soldier Field. Rex Grossman replaced Kyle Orton at quarterback during the game to help lead the Bears to the victory.

With a kickoff temperature of 2 degrees and a windchill of minus-13 at Soldier Field, Robbie Gould booted a 38-yard field goal in overtime to give the Bears a Monday night victory over their arch rivals in one of the coldest games in franchise history.

After the Metrodome's roof collapsed under the weight of heavy snow during the week, the Bears beat the Vikings on a frozen field at TCF Bank Stadium to clinch the NFC North title. Devin Hester set an NFL record in the game with his 14th kick return touchdown, bringing back a punt 64 yards for a score.

In a game played on an ice-covered field at the Meadowlands, Bob Thomas' 28-yard field goal with :04 left in overtime in the season finale gave the Bears a wild card berth and their first playoff appearance in 14 years—since winning the 1963 NFL championship.

With a dense fog rolling over Soldier Field in the second quarter, the Bears defeated the Eagles in a divisional playoff game that was dubbed "The Fog Bowl." The Bears defense didn't allow a touchdown and recorded three interceptions of quarterback Randall Cunningham.
