Top 10: Moments of the 2010s
With 2020 now upon us, senior writer Larry Mayer ranks the top 10 Bears moments from 2010-2019.

(10) Bears defense stops Rams cold
The Bears shut down an explosive Rams offense in a 15-6 Sunday night win on Dec. 9, 2018 at Soldier Field, not allowing a touchdown while producing four interceptions and a safety. The Rams entered the game with an 11-1 record, averaging 34.9 points per game.

(9) Jackson makes NFL history
Bears safety Eddie Jackson became the first player in NFL history to score multiple defensive touchdowns of at least 75 yards in a game when he returned an interception 76 yards and a fumble 75 yards on Oct. 22, 2017 in a 17-3 win over the Panthers.

(8) Mack makes immediate impact
In his first half of play as a member of the Bears, Khalil Mack became the first player in NFL history to record an interception, touchdown, sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery in one half on Sept. 9, 2018 against the Packers at Lambeau Field.

(7) Bears retire Ditka's No. 89
In a halftime ceremony during a Monday night game against the Cowboys on a frigid night at Soldier Field on Dec. 9, 2013, the Bears retired Mike Ditka's No. 89 jersey. An emotional Ditka thanked the organization and yelled, "Go Bears!"

(6) Dent enshrined in Hall of Fame
Super Bowl XX MVP Richard Dent, a 1983 eighth-round draft pick who remains the Bears' all-time sack leader, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 6, 2011 in Canton.

(5) '85 Bears visit the White House
Unable to visit the White House after winning Super Bowl XX due to the Challenger space shuttle tragedy, the '85 Bears finally made it to the Oval Office on Oct. 7, 2011, thanks to an invitation from President Barack Obama, an avid Bears fan.

(4) Bears clinch NFC North championship
Mitchell Trubisky threw two touchdown passes and Eddie Jackson ended Aaron Rodgers' NFL record streak without an interception as the Bears clinched the NFC North title with a 24-17 win over the Packers on Dec. 16, 2018 at Soldier Field.

(3) Hester sets record, Bears win division crown
Devin Hester set an NFL record with his 14th kick return touchdown, bringing back a punt 64 yards to help the Bears clinch the NFC North title with a 40-14 win over the Vikings on a frigid night at TCF Bank Stadium on Dec. 10, 2010.

(2) Bears beat Seahawks in divisional playoffs
The Bears advanced to the NFC Championship Game as Jay Cutler passed for 274 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-24 divisional playoff victory over the Seahawks on Jan. 16, 2011 at Soldier Field.

(1) Urlacher inducted into Hall of Fame
The face of the Bears franchise for more than a decade, eight-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker Brian Urlacher was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 4, 2018 in Canton.
