Bears general manager Ryan Pace has promoted six members of the football operations staff, including one on the player development side and five in the scouting department.

LaMar "Soup" Campbell has been promoted to Vice President of Player Engagement. Campbell originally joined the Bears as Director of Player Engagement in 2017. Prior to joining the Bears, Campbell spent four years at his alma mater, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, as Assistant Athletic Director of Engagement.

On the scouting side, Jeff King has been promoted to Director of Pro Scouting. King, a Virginia Tech alum, was hired by the Bears in 2016 as a Pro Scout before being elevated to Assistant Director of Pro Scouting in 2019.

Also in the scouting department, Sam Summerville, with the Bears since 2012, has been promoted from Area Scout to National Scout. Summerville was honored by the Fritz Pollard Alliance in 2019 as the NFC Scout of the Year.

Additional moves include Scott Hamel transitioning from Midwest Area Scout to Southeast Area Scout, and the promotions of Brendan Rehor from Combine Scout to Midwest Area Scout, and Drew Raucina from Scouting Assistant to Combine Scout.
