The Bears and some of their players rank at or near the top of the NFL in key statistical categories entering Week 13 of the season. Here's how they stack up:

Team
• The defense ranks fourth in the league in holding opponents on third down with a conversion percentage of 32.9. In situations of third-and-10 or longer, the Bears have a league-best 7.1 conversion rate.

• The defense ranks fourth in the NFL, and second in the NFC, in points per game with 17.1. The team has allowed the second-fewest points on opening drives, having allowed nine over 11 games.

• The team boasts the longest active streak in the NFL after denying their opponent a touchdown on the opening drive for the 21st consecutive game. The streak dates back to October of 2018.

• The Bears are tied for fourth in red-zone takeaways with three.

• The defense ranks fourth in the league in yards per game with 315.6. The Bears' 4.9 yards per play allowed ranks sixth in the NFL. The Bears are tied for third-fewest yards allowed after the catch with 54.

• Since the start of last season, the Bears rank second in the NFL with 51 total touchdowns allowed (13 rushing, 33 passing, three returns). New England is first with 49 total TDs allowed during that span.

Individual
• Linebacker Khalil Mack's strip-sack of Giants quarterback Daniel Jones marked his fifth forced fumble of the season, which is tied for the most in the league. Since the beginning of 2015, Mack has forced 19 fumbles, including 11 in his time with the Bears, the most in the league over that period.

• Receiver Allen Robinson II recorded a season-high 131 yards on six catches, the fifth-most receiving yards in Week 12. His 21.8 yards per catch was the second-best average among receivers with five or more receptions.

• Running back Tarik Cohen stretched his streak of catching at least one pass to 43 games, the second-longest active streak by a running back, trailing only Carolina's Christian McCaffrey, whose streak stands at 44.

• As a punt returner, Cohen ranks first in the NFL in return average at 10.3 yards.

• Running back David Montgomery ranks second among NFL rookies in rushing yards and touchdowns with 519 and five, respectively. Montgomery has also recorded 21 catches for 161 yards.

• Wide Receiver Cordarrelle Patterson is averaging 29.1 yards per kick return, second best in the NFL. Patterson also ranks second in the NFL in total yardage with 621. His seven career kickoffs returned for touchdowns is one shy of the NFL record in the Super Bowl era.

• Punter Pat O'Donnell ranks second in the NFL and first in the NFC in net punting average at 40.5 yards. His 75-yard punt against the Denver Broncos in Week 2 remains the longest of the season for the entire league. O'Donnell has had 19 punts downed inside the 20, including two inside the 10 in the fourth quarter against the Giants
