The Bears promoted defensive back De'Vante Bausby from the practice squad to the active roster.

Bausby entered the NFL last year with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburg State, but broke his collarbone last June. He was signed to the Bears practice squad last Dec. 22 after an impressive workout and spent the first five weeks of this season on the practice squad as well.

Hurst was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday and played in Sunday's loss to the Colts. He has appeared in 23 games with three starts in three seasons with the Bears, recording 41 tackles on defense and nine stops on special teams, one interception, two pass breakups and one forced fumble.

The Bears also made a handful of other moves involving their practice squad Monday, signing receiver Darius Jennings and tight end Marcel Jensen and placing tight end Busta Anderson on the practice squad injured list.

Jennings played in four games with one start last season as an undrafted rookie with the Browns, catching 14 passes for 117 yards.

Jensen has appeared in two games with the Jaguars (2014) and Redskins (2015), catching one pass for eight yards. He has also spent time with the Broncos, Falcons and Bills.
