Bears fans can now vote on 2018 NFL Pro Bowl

Fans can now vote for the Pro Bowl via direct messages on Twitter as well as on NFL and official team websites through Dec. 14.

Fans can enter the 2018 Pro Bowl DM experience via entry cards tweeted from each NFL team account and by initiating a "message" on the @NFL profile page. To begin the voting process, fans will select a position group or search for a player or team.

To vote by position, fans are asked to 1) Enter DM voting experience and select a position group; 2) Select any eligible position player; 3) Confirm the vote; and 4) Select next position group or tweet to announce their vote with a pre-composed message.

To vote by player, fans can 1) Enter DM voting experience and type the player's name in the text field of the DM; 2) Confirm the vote; and 3) Select to search for the next player or tweet to announce their vote.

To vote by team, fans are asked to 1) Enter DM voting experience and search for their team; 2) Select player from the auto-populated list of eligible players; 3) Confirm their vote; and 4) Select to search for the next player or tweet to announce their vote.

Fans can also vote for the Pro Bowl on NFL.com and official team websites, such as ChicagoBears.com. They will also be able to vote via Twitter from Dec. 7-14 by including the official hashtag #ProBowlVote and players' first and last names.

Bears players who are expected to garner the most Pro Bowl consideration include running back Jordan Howard and defensive end Akiem Hicks. Howard ranks third in the NFC and fifth in the NFL in rushing with 716 yards and four touchdowns on 177 carries, while Hicks leads the Bears with seven sacks, matching a career high he set last season.
