Bears holding annual coat drive

The Bears are encouraging their fans to donate winter coats at Jewel-Osco locations throughout the Chicago area through Dec. 21 as part of their 26th annual coat drive.

The coats will benefit The Salvation Army. For information about The Salvation Army, visit or call (773) 725-1100.

Over 23,000 coats were donated last year. The effort is traditionally spearheaded by longtime Bears equipment manager Tony Medlin.
