The 28-year-old has appeared in 37 NFL games with six starts over five seasons with the Ravens (2012-13), Bills (2014) and Bears (2015-16), catching 39 passes for 477 yards and two touchdowns and averaging 25.4 yards on 71 kickoff returns.

Last season Thompson posted career highs with 16 games played, six starts, 22 receptions, 249 yards and two touchdowns. He ranked second in the NFL in kickoff return average (29.2 yards) in 2015 and second in kickoff return yards (804) in 2016.
