Bears release unofficial depth chart

The Bears released their first unofficial depth chart Wednesday in advance of Thursday night's preseason opener against the Miami Dolphins at Soldier Field.

Jacquizz Rodgers is listed as the No. 2 running back behind Kyle Long and ahead of Jeremy Langford, Ka'Deem Carey, Senorise Perry and Daniel Thomas.

Rookie running back Jeremy Langford is listed third on the Bears' first unofficial depth chart.
Alshon Jeffery is the starter at one receiver position ahead of Marquess Wilson, Cameron Meredith and Rashad Lawrence, while Eddie Royal is first at the other spot ahead of rookie first-round pick Kevin White, who has missed the first 11 training camp practices with a shin injury.

The starting offensive line consists of left tackle Jermon Bushrod, left guard Matt Slauson, center Will Montgomery, right guard Kyle Long and right tackle Jordan Mills. The No. 2 unit is comprised of left tackle Charles Leno Jr., left guard Vladimir Ducasse, center Hroniss Grasu, right guard Jason Weaver and right tackle Michael Ola.

With no fullbacks on the roster, the Bears list two tight ends among their offensive starters. Martellus Bennett is atop the depth chart at the traditional position ahead of Bear Pascoe and Chris Pantale, while Dante Rosario is No. 1 at the tight end/fullback spot ahead of Zach Miller and Blake Annen.

Defensively, Jeremiah Ratliff is the starting nose tackle ahead of rookie second-round pick Eddie Goldman. Ego Ferguson is listed first at one defensive end position ahead of Brandon Dunn, while Jarvis Jenkins is the starter at the other spot ahead of Will Sutton and Cornelius Washington.

The starting inside linebackers are Shea McClellin and Christian Jones, ahead of second-stringers Mason Foster and Jonathan Bostic and third-stringers DeDe Lattimore and Jonathan Anderson.

Jared Allen and Pernell McPhee are listed as the starting outside linebackers, ahead of second-stringers Lamarr Houston and Sam Acho and third-stringers David Bass and Willie Young.

The starting secondary consists of cornerbacks Tim Jennings and Kyle Fuller and safeties Brock Vereen and Antrel Rolle. The second unit is comprised of cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Alan Ball and safeties Adrian Amos and Ryan Mundy.

On special teams, Marc Maniani is listed as both the No. 1 punt returner ahead of Royal and the top kickoff returner ahead of Perry. Thomas Gafford is the No. 1 long-snapper ahead of Rick Lovato.
