Bears equipment manager Tony Medlin was joined by defensive end Akiem Hicks and tight end Zach Miller earlier this week to kick off the team's 29th annual coat drive.

Fans are encouraged to donate new and gently-used coats at any of the 187 participating Jewel-Osco stores in the Chicagoland area through Jan. 1. Over 22,200 coats were donated last year. The Bears are hoping to increase that number to 25,000 this year.

A store locator is available at JewelOsco.com. Wm. Meyers Movers will handle transport logistics. All coats will benefit the Salvation Army. Those in need of a coat can call the Salvation Army at (773) 725-1100.
