Conte pick third best play of season

Last week we invited fans to select the Bears' top plays of the season. Finishing in third place with 13 percent of the vote was Chris Conte's diving interception in a Week 2 win over the 49ers.

With the Bears trailing 10-0 early in the second quarter, Conte thwarted a San Francisco drive by soaring through the air to pick off a Colin Kaepernick pass intended for Anquan Boldin. The Bears eventually rallied from a 20-7 fourth-quarter deficit to defeat the 49ers 28-20 in the inaugural game at Levi's Stadium.

Conte appeared in 12 games with 11 starts in 2013, recording three interceptions for the second straight season. His eight interceptions since 2012 are tied for the eighth most among NFL safeties.

Check ChicagoBears.com Thursday when we reveal the second best play of the season.
