Jennings voted 74th best player in NFL

Voted to the Pro Bowl for the second straight season in 2013, Tim Jennings has been ranked the 74th best player in the NFL in a poll of league players conducted by NFL Network.

The Bears cornerback was featured on Wednesday night's episode of "The Top 100 Players of 2013," which unveiled players ranked Nos. 71-80.

After leading the NFL with a career-high nine interceptions in 2012, Jennings again topped the Bears with four picks and 13 pass breakups in 2013.

Jennings made key plays throughout the season. He returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown in a 31-30 win over the Vikings. Against the Giants, he brought back a pick 48 yards for a TD and preserved a 27-21 victory with a late interception.

In back-to-back wins late in the season, Jennings helped hold Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant to two receptions for 12 yards and Browns wideout Josh Gordon to three catches for 67 yards.

Slated to become an unrestricted free agent, Jennings signed a four-year contract with the Bears on Jan. 2.
