Payton Foundation holding toy drive

The Walter and Connie Payton Foundation is conducting its annual toy drive Sunday at Soldier Field. Fans attending the Bears-49ers game are encouraged to donate a new, unwrapped toy.

Volunteers will be stationed at most entrances to collect donations as fans enter the stadium. All donations collected will be distributed to in-need children throughout the State of Illinois through the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation.

The organization's mission is to take an active role in helping those less fortunate find stability while providing positive opportunities needed to live their lives with dignity and pride.

The WCPF assists about 5,000 children throughout the year and works directly with DCFS to provide for their holiday giving. For more information, visit www.PAYTON34.com.
