Urlacher, Briggs to appear at Block Party

Former Bears Pro Bowl linebackers Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs are scheduled to appear at the inaugural Miller Lite Chicago Bears Block Party this Saturday.

Brian Urlacher and Lance Briggs are scheduled to appear at the inaugural Miller Lite Chicago Bears Block Party this Saturday.

The longtime teammates and close friends are slated to be available for photo opportunities at Joe's Bar Rooftop from 7-7:45 p.m. and will make a stage appearance at 8:15 p.m.

The block party will be open from noon-10 p.m. in Chicago's Weed Street District, right off the North and Clybourn Red Line. Fans of all ages are invited to the free, festival-style event which will feature photo opportunities, tailgate food, cold drinks, exclusive Bears prizes and live music.

Timeflies is scheduled to play from 9-10 p.m. with other bands performing throughout the day, including Sir the Baptist, The Boy Band Night, Sidewalk Chalk, Cowboy Jukebox and Red-Handed Thieves.

Fans are encouraged to download the Bears Mobile App brought to you by Verizon to redeem a free gift from Miller Lite at the event (while supplies last, must be at least 21).
