With the NFL Combine and a week of free agency in the books, we checked back in with draft analysts to see who they think the Bears will select with the No. 3 overall pick. Here's what we found:
Will Brinson, CBS Sports (March 7)
Pick: North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky
Comment: Letting Jay Cutler go as well as Alshon Jeffery is going to put the Bears in a crunch of finding quality position players. Getting a quarterback of the future would do them well.

Pick: LSU safety Jamal Adams
Comment: Adams is exactly what the Bears need between the hashes -- a "pack leader" with a versatile game and a knack for playmaking.

Dane Brugler, CBS Sports (March 13)
Pick: Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore
Comment: The Bears signed Prince Amukamara to a one-year "prove it" deal, but there are still plenty of question marks at cornerback for Chicago. If the doctors give two thumbs up then Lattimore is worth this high selection.

Pick: Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore
Comment: In the NFC North, you need cornerbacks with terrific cover skills; Lattimore fits the description.

Pick: LSU safety Jamal Adams
Comment: Adams is a special talent who would provide the Bears with outstanding leadership in the secondary.

Pick: LSU safety Jamal Adams
Comment: Quarterback isn't quite as pressing of a need after the addition of Mike Glennon in free agency, so the Bears can take a similar approach to what I laid out above for the 49ers. Adams is one of the few players with an elite grade in this year's class. A big hitter with impressive range versus the run, the LSU product can play in the box and back deep. He has excellent intangibles and would immediately make the Bears' secondary better.

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports (March 16)
Pick: LSU safety Jamal Adams
Comment: They need a playmaker on the back end and can wait to get a corner later in the draft.

Rob Rang, CBS Sports (March 13)
Pick: LSU safety Jamal Adams
Comment: Safety has long been a sore spot in Chicago with only one Bears safety (Mike Brown) earning an invitation to the Pro Bowl over the past 20 years. Adams has that kind of potential and is viewed by some as the safest prospect in the draft. He is a tone-setter with a rare combination of instincts, athleticism and intangibles to make an immediate impact on a defense that made strides a year ago but allowed 24.9 points per game, 24th in the NFL.

Pick: Stanford defensive lineman Solomon Thomas
Comment: Thomas is an outstanding player with position versatility the Bears will appreciate.
