Kristian Rokita, a member of the United States Navy, was flown home to Chicago by United Airlines, where he was surprised by 13 members of his family meeting him at the gate before heading to Halas Hall for a private tour hosted by Hall of Famer and Super Bowl XX champion Dan Hampton. Rokita was then at Soldier Field Saturday to serve as an honorary captain before the Bears' 22-16 comeback overtime win over the Packers.

Community Programs and Initiatives
The Bears impact thousands of lives each year through our educational programming with a focus on character development, literacy, and honoring our educators. Through strategic partnerships, we hope to empower our youth and support the teachers who play a vital role in their lives.
The Bears and Bears Care supported the expansion of high school girls flag football in Illinois with more than 170 teams and 5,000 girls participating. The support came through monetary donations, in-kind donations and hosting several different events throughout the year.
The Bears offer support to help make a positive impact on our fans who are experiencing challenging times. We provide assistance through children's hospital visits, wish granting experiences, collecting winter coats, and lending a helping hand to families in need.
The Bears are dedicated to supporting the men and women in the United States Military. We are proud to show our sincere gratitude to those who serve our country through on-field recognitions, sending care packages, and providing unique experiences to veterans, active duty members of the military and their families.
The Chicago Bears and Bears Care, alongside our players, have long supported local organizations who are inspiring positive change in the community and advancing our collective commitment to social justice. We continue to take action in our communities and, together, believe we can make a real difference.
The Bears enjoy taking an active role in offering and supporting a variety of youth and high school football clinics, camps and opportunities throughout Illinois. We host events for players and coaches to help develop skills, build leadership and promote safety. We continue to teach and encourage our youth to play the great game of football.
