The Chicago Bears have created a DVD called Careers at the Bears, which is meant to serve as a curriculum supplement for high school marketing classes. The DVD provides an overview of the various positions and business areas that exist in a professional sports organization, and features interviews with Bears staff members from several different departments. Each segment provides information about each person’s general job responsibilities and career path, along with footage of them "on the job". For the 12th consecutive year, the Chicago Bears will offer our "Tales to Tackle" reading incentive program to schools across Illinois. The main component of "Tales to Tackle," which is geared towards students in grades K-8, is a reading notebook that features pictures of Bears players, includes a variety of fun activities, and has plenty of space for students to write book reports. This notebook allows the students to keep track of the books that they read during the program. "Tales to Tackle" will take place in classrooms across Illinois this fall.
