Bears Care announces player lineup for Gala

Bears Care, the charitable arm of the Chicago Bears, has announced the player lineup for the 2022 Bears Care Gala on Saturday, June 4, from 6-10:30 p.m. at Soldier Field. Current and former players scheduled to attend include Anthony "Spice" Adams, Jerry Azumah, Khari Blasingameï»ż, Dakota Dozierï»ż, Darrynton Evansï»ż, Gary Fencik, Justin Fieldsï»ż, Matt Forte, Thomas Graham Jr.ï»ż, Khalil Herbertï»ż, DeAndre Houston-Carsonï»ż, Teven Jenkinsï»ż, Caleb Johnsonï»ż, Jaylon Johnsonï»ż, Cole Kmetï»ż, Zach Miller, David Montgomeryï»ż, Sam Mustipherï»ż, Dazz Newsomeï»ż, James O'Shaughnessyï»ż, Byron Pringleï»ż, Trevor Siemianï»ż, Mike Singletary, Khyiris Tonga and Cody Whitehairï»ż. General manager Ryan Poles, head coach Matt Eberflus, assistant general manager Ian Cunningham, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, defensive coordinator Alan Williams and special teams coordinator Richard Hightower are also scheduled to attend.

The Gala will kick off with the Orange Carpet hosted by Bears reporter Lauren Screeden and Anthony "Spice" Adams from 6-7 p.m. at the Dr Pepper Patio. A VIP party with specialty cocktails, an on-field player tunnel experience, photo opportunities and more will also be held during the Orange Carpet reception. Jeff Joniak, voice of the Bears on WBBM Newsradio 780 &105.9 FM, will emcee the Gala and be joined by former Bears guard and current radio analyst Tom Thayer in conducting the live auction.

Fans who are unable to attend the event will be able to support the cause by bidding online starting on Wednesday, June 1, through Saturday, June 4. Highlights from the online auction include a 74-foot yacht experience with full catering, trip to Beverly Hills, Chicago Mahogany Tour led by Shermann "Dilla" Thomas, private whiskey tasting, one-of-a-kind autographed memorabilia and more. Fans can also submit proxy bids on live auction items, which include a trip to Hawaii, the opportunity to "Leave Town with the Bears" and a trip for 10 on private rail cars to Dallas in October for the Bears vs. Cowboys game. The Gala provides continued support for promising ongoing research in the fight against breast and ovarian cancer and funding new initiatives and clinical trials, several of which focus on addressing health inequity in cancer care for women of color.
