PRO CAREER: A two-time Pro Bowl returner has appeared in 95 games (30 starts) through six seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (2013-16), Oakland Raiders (2017) and New England Patriots (2018), tallying 1,872 receiving yards on 184 receptions (10.2 avg.) and 682 rushing yards on 86 attempts (7.9 avg.) ... as a return man, Patterson owns 5,276 kick return yards on 176 attempts (30.0 avg.) and has returned one punt for nine yards ... having twice led the NFL in kick return touchdowns both as a rookie in 2013 (2) and once more in 2015 (2), Patterson also has the most overall kickoff returns for touchdowns in the NFL since entering the league in 2013 (6) ... led the NFL in kick return average on three occasions: 2013 (32.4), 2015 (31.8) and once more in 2016 (31.7) ... he and former Bears running back Gale Sayers are the only two return specialists in NFL history with a kick return average at or above 30.0.

2018 SEASON: Appeared in 15 games, making six starts for the Super Bowl Champion Patriots. He tallied 247 receiving yards on 21 grabs (11.8 avg.) with three touchdowns while rushing for single-season career-best figures in both yards (228) and carries (42) while adding an additional score on the ground. In the return game, Patterson logged the league’s third-highest kick return average at 28.8 yards per return with 663 yards on 23 attempts with one touchdown.
