Biography
PRO CAREER:
- Completed his fifth NFL season and first with the Bears in 2022 after spending the previous four with the Los Angeles Chargers
- Has appeared in 68 games with 52 starts, totaling 170Â tackles (91 solo), 7.5 sacks, 20 QBH, 24 TFL, six passes defensed, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries
- Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the third round (84th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft
2022 SEASON (Bears):
- Started at defensive tackle in Week 1, finishing the contest with two tackles (one solo) and one pass defensed
- In Week 2 at Green Bay, recorded eight tackles (five solo) and matched a team-best two tackles-for-loss
- Logged his first sack as a member of the Bears in Week 3 vs. Houston, bringing down quarterback Davis Mills for a loss of eight yards; finished the contest with two solo tackles, one tackle for loss and two QBH
- Finished third on the team with six combined tackles (two solo) in Week 4 at New York, while also matching a career-best two tackles-for-loss
