PRO CAREER:
- Entered his third season with the Bears in 2022
- Selected in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft (155th overall) by the Bears
- Gipson's five forced fumbles in the 2021 season match the second-most by any Bears defender since the start of the 2013 season, trailing only Khalil Mack's 2018 season (6) and tying Mack's 2019 campaign
2022 SEASON (Bears):
- Saw game action on both defense and special teams in the Week 1 victory vs. San Francisco, finishing the contest with three solo tackles, one QBH and one pass defensed
- Matched a game-high two sacks in Week 2 at Green Bay while also logging four total tackles (two solo), two tackles-for-loss and three QBH
- His performance at Green Bay marks Gipson's second-career multi-sack performance (Jan. 2, 2022 vs. NYG) and his three QBH are the most he's had in a game in his career
